A Geocaching Weekend
My wife and I had an awesome geocaching weekend! First we went and hung out with the SEPAG guys in Lorimer park and then went out with some newbies (newer than us, yes, they exist) and found a couple very cool caches.
Yesterday we found five. The noteworthy ones were the Kingdom of the Feral Cats where a cat lady setup row homes (old boxes covered with carpets and blankets) for a ton of feral cats. We saw a couple cats and two deer there, it was in behind a mall in Northeast Philadelphia. The other cool one we found was the old Philadelphia Fairgrounds which is now abandoned and overgrown. It would make a really great park but I guess whoever owns it won’t let it go. Either that or the city owns it and doesn’t have the money to do anything with it.
